A Home Within: Healing Through Consistency
My commitment to accessible mental health care extends beyond the doors of my private practice. I believe that consistent, high-quality clinical support must be available to those navigating complex systemic barriers.
This is why I proudly partner with A Home Within, a national network of licensed professionals dedicated to providing free, open-ended, individual psychotherapy to individuals who have experienced foster care during their life. The foster care system is too often defined by transience and disruption, but A Home Within operates on a powerful, restorative model: volunteer therapists commit to seeing one client, for one hour a week, for as long as it takes. The relationship itself becomes part of the medicine.
As the founder of the New Hampshire chapter of A Home Within, I am actively engaged in expanding this vital community of care locally. In addition to my chapter leadership, I serve as a volunteer therapist within the network, providing ongoing, pro bono therapy to a client who has experienced foster care. This work is deeply rooted in my professional belief that a safe, enduring therapeutic relationship is one of the most effective catalysts for healing trauma and building long-term resilience.
Pineapple Support Society: Stigma-Free, Affirming Care
True clinical accessibility means offering care that is entirely free from judgment, bias, and systemic gatekeeping. This is why I am a proud partner of Pineapple Support, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing accessible, stigma-free mental health care to professionals in the online adult industry.
Historically, adult industry professionals and sex workers have faced profound stigma, marginalization, and a lack of affirming care within the medical and psychological fields. Pineapple Support bridges this critical gap by ensuring that individuals are connected with highly qualified, sex-worker-affirming therapists who understand the unique complexities of their work and lives.
As a clinical psychologist, I work with Pineapple Support to offer dedicated therapy to individuals within this community. Because the online adult industry is highly digital and distributed, geographical barriers often prevent performers and creators from finding specialized, affirming providers in their local area. By utilizing my PsyPact licensure, I am able to extend these therapeutic services to clients across more than 40 states. This allows me to remove regional barriers and ensure that high-quality, non-judgmental care is widely accessible.
My work with this organization reflects a core tenet of my clinical philosophy: everyone deserves a safe, validating space to process trauma, navigate life transitions, and build resilience, without fear of their profession or identity being pathologized.
